If browsing the internet for decor and fashion is a favorite past-time of yours, you’ve probably noticed a developing trend over the past few months - checkerboard! I’m seeing this pop up in all sorts of different places, from painted accent walls, to outerwear and accessories, to home decor pieces. But this isn’t your typical boring black and white checkerboard! It’s a modernized version with retro roots, hearkening back to the 1960’s and using (mostly) neutral and pastel tones, and even playing with the lines a bit at times, making them a little more wavy and imperfect.. groovy, right?!
