DIY RAINBOW SUMMER MANI WITH HAPPYTATTS TEMPORARY TATTOOS
I’ve got a super fun DIY for y’all today - perfect for creating the bright summer mani of your dreams! I used my new fave Olive & June nail polishes plus a couple of my brand new teeny tiny happytatts temporary tattoos. This particular mani features the starburst set, but you could also use these mini hearts or mini anchors, both perfectly sized for nail art!
Olive & June colors used in order from thumb to pinky - Grateful & Kind (pink), Wild & Free (coral), Bright & Focused (yellow), Honest & True (aqua), Bold & Unshaken (violet).
I ordered the Into You Box, which has all of their gorgeous summer colors inside (7 shades total), and I was extremely happy with the quality of the polishes. The main thing I noticed was how smooth they went on and how fast-drying they were. And as someone who has ZERO patience when it comes to letting my nails dry, this was a HUGE plus. (I did 3 coats, which I’ve found is is pretty typical for most brands of polish.)
I highly recommend Olive & June (#notsponsored), but any of your favorite polishes will work perfectly for this, obviously! Have fun with your color combos, too!
After applying your favorite polish and letting the final coat dry well, cut out two tiny stars from the starburst set, remove the plastic covering, and position them sticky side down on the nail of your choice (I put them on my yellow middle nails).
Next, take a damp cloth and press down on the back of the tattoo paper to transfer the design onto your nail. It only takes a few seconds, and the paper will slide off easily when the design has been transferred. Repeat this for your other hand.
Finally, apply a clear top coat to seal it all off, let dry, and enjoy your fun summer mani!
