Y’ALL. I was just looking at some old pictures from before I started my SnapCorrect treatment plan, and OH EM GEE. What a difference 6 months has made.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I can’t believe I waited this long to straighten my smile.

I’m not going to lie to you. This process isn’t always comfortable. But then again, change never is, is it? (Ah, yes. Wise words in the middle of a blog post about teeth. Who knew?) In the grand scheme of things, the mild discomfort I’m feeling for these 9 months is nothing compared to what I consider to be a life-changing end result.

Yes, I said life-changing. I know that might sound a tad dramatic, but I say it with so much seriousness. I used to be constantly aware of my smile - trying to hide my teeth as much as possible, doing the closed-lip smile when someone was directly to my right side, and sometimes not even smiling at all because I was so embarrassed of the way my teeth looked. All the while, friends and family were telling me they didn’t notice what I was so self-conscious about. Which is sweet, but if you’ve ever had something you’re super self-conscious about, you know that no matter how many people tell you it’s fine, it still bothers YOU. And I’m here to tell you that YOU matter. Do what you need to do for YOU.

Alright, babe. Pep talk aside.. wanna see some before and afters? Good, cause I’m itching to show them to you! Keep in mind that I still have 3 months to go, so this isn’t the final after, but we’re definitely to the point where you can see a dramatic difference!
